I am based in Portland, Oregon and shoot extensively in the Northwest. I also travel a great deal, so my work is from locations as varied as Arizona, Hawaii, and Tanzania. Most of my images are available as stock photography through Dreamstime.

I have been a photographer since I was nine years old. I worked for several years as a television reporter-photographer. After a career in public television, I served as a consultant to non-profit organizations. Today my work combines these life skills and passions. I focus on landscape and nature photography, and I document the work of non-profit organizations.

In addition to stock photography, I sell my work for display in commercial locations and private collections, and my images are seen in local themed exhibits and calendars, such as those of Oregon Public Broadcasting and Portland Japanese Garden. I have developed several book projects, including a publication for a non-profit working to protect orphaned and most vulnerable children in Tanzania, Africa Bridge.

I restore old photographs, slides, and negatives, and my blog offers photography and editing tips and software reviews.
